Enjoy a bulk package of freeze dried, fully cooked wild-caught Alaskan king crab legs, removed from the shell and packaged for long-term storage. The net weight is 4.0 ounces of freeze-dried meat. Each ounce of freeze-dried crab rehydrates to approximately 5 ounces of prepared crab meat, and each ounce of freeze-dried crab is roughly equivalent to 14.5 ounces of fresh crab in the shell when comparing original shell weight.
To prepare, rehydrate the freeze-dried crab meat with boiling water for a few minutes (follow instructions on the product label). After rehydration, serve as you would fresh cooked crab meat.
Unopened pouches are designed for long-term storage with an expected shelf life of 25 years or more when kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight. After opening, reseal the pouch and use remaining portions within about 90 days for best quality; storing with the included oxygen absorber and desiccant will help extend freshness.
