These regular mouth canning lids are made to form a tight seal on compatible canning and mason jars for home preserving and storage. Each lid has a soft sealing liner on the underside that activates when heated during the canning process to help prevent oxygen and bacteria from entering the jar. The sealing liner is single-use and should be replaced after processing.

Usage Tips:

Pair lids with compatible bands (sold separately) to hold the lid in place during processing; remove or loosen bands slightly after processing as recommended for your canning method.
Follow tested home-canning guidelines for time, temperature, and pressure to ensure safe preservation.
