These wide mouth canning lids provide a dependable, single-use seal for preserving fruits, vegetables, sauces, and other home-canned goods. The underside of each lid contains a soft sealing compound that, when properly prepared and processed, helps prevent oxygen and bacteria from entering the jar.

  • Preparation: Place lids in a pot, cover with water, and bring the water to a simmer (180 degrees Fahrenheit / 80 degrees Celsius) for 10 minutes to activate the sealing compound before use.
